How good are volunteers? We recently helped Traralgon Croquet Club unearth a new one by creating a clearly-defined role to fit an identified need, without adding more responsibilities to the existing committee.
The club secured a Sporting Club Grant which they used to engage our team for some digital design work. We used our graphic design and social media expertise to help the club identify the best online platform (Team App) for its internal and external communications and also developed some promotional materials.
Through this process we also helped the club develop and fill a digital communications officer role to complement the new assets and strategy to engage better with their members and the broader community.
And as it turned out, an ideal candidate was already a member at the club. Lynette saw the advertisement on the noticeboard and knew it was the right opportunity for her to get involved. Our comms guru, Nicole, provided a quick crash course session and Lynette has hit the ground running, embracing the challenge of getting members on board with the new communications strategy.
